Ewaso Enclave Conservancy

Ewaso Enclave Conservancy (EEC) was established to protect over 2000 acres of vital wildlife habitat in Laikipia County, Kenya. Located along the Ewaso Nyiro River, EEC addresses habitat fragmentation and land-use changes threatening wildlife corridors. The Conservancy has significantly improved habitat quality, promoting vegetation regeneration and integrating modern conservation practices. By securing critical wildlife dispersal routes and enhancing ecological connectivity, the EEC plays a pivotal role in safeguarding biodiversity and supporting local communities sentiments.

Our vision

We aim to maintain a sustainable wildlife population, enhance genetic diversity, and support conservation education. By embracing science and fostering community awareness, we strive to protect wildlife and ensure a harmonious coexistence between nature and people for present and future generations.
